This is quite an achievement considering how much you have abused
yourself over the years. We have noticed, however, that you are hitting
the ball further than ever despite your advancing years --- so, we
conclude that you must be on something. Whatever it is, we need it!!!
Again, congratulations. We hope you have a happy 60th and many many
more. Look forward to seeing you again soon teeing it up. Ned &

Comments: Dear Tim, To paraphrase Casey Stengel, “There comes a
time in every man’s life, and you’ve had many of them.” Today you
are at 21,915 days and counting (60x365 plus the 15 leap year days).
Having just slipped by the 22,000 day mark I have great empathy for your
plight on your special day. I find it is helpful to place events in the
perspective of 21,915 days. For example, two days of the “roto rooter
vein cleaning” procedure amount to less than 1/10,000 of your days. On
the other hand you and Kathy have been married for over 12,000 days or
well more than half your days. You and Emma have known each other for
more than 1,800 days, 100% of her life experience! Our golf trip to the
British Isles amounted to 50/21,915 or just .002% of your days. The
amount of time you have been disappointed watching the golf ball
disappear – wide right – is actually small in the total scheme of
timings. (We have a gift for you when you come to Nantucket to deal with
this wide right issue). Judy and I have had the pleasure of your
acquaintance for more than 7,000 days. We’ve had some wonderful times
during these “days”. Our observation is that your life has been
productive, rich, successful and fun filled. This is no small part due
to your great family, friends near and far and from all walks of your
life. Our birthday wish, Tim, is that your life continues to be
productive, rich, successful and fun filled. Happy 60th! Greg and Judy

Comments: Tim, Happy Bithday. 60 is quite the milestone! What's
happened? Everyone has said such nice things about you. Considering I
spent the first 10 years of my life afraid to shake your hand for fear
of the knuckle roll, I can't believe you only did that to me! Maybe you
have gotten softer in your old age! You'll be happy to know that I pass
on the knuckle roll handshake to my students with a brief history about
my Uncle Tim and how he taught me to shake hands with a firm grip. For
all the toughness, you truly are a gentle and generous soul and I am
grateful for all that you have shared with me. Love, Jody P.S. Remind my

father looking for her at 4 AM(after drinking at the Sea Grapes). And
the priviledge of mowing your grass(actually more of a rock field/cliff)

It just took me about 30 years to realize that. When I was a young
college boy pursuing the darker sides of life, you were following
another path. As a member of Villanova's "Blue Key", your
example to your classmates and potential students alike was clear. Those
of us who might then have considered you a boot-licking, self-important,
political dork were wrong. You were not a political dork. As life moved
on you took on other important leadership roles; in business, as captain
of the Driscoll family,Aspetuck CC President, we were all in awe of your
ability to focus on our insignificant problems and make a positive
contribution. I look to you for some guidance as I approach the golden
years. I know that I would have been much happier and successful had I
emulated you in early life. I won't make that mistake twice. Please be
