Comments: Happy Birthday Stephen. We had some great times when the Goudreau and Gates cousins got together - be it in Springfield or Woods Hole. Joanne told of your train set in the attic, but I remember when it covered the dining room table. Hope you had a great day and have many more happy years with you family. I retire in June. Bruce and I will be in Florida next winter on the west coast. Hope to see you then. Save some of that warm weather for us. Again Happy 60th.

Comments: How the years fly by!!!!!!!THE BIG 60000000000...doesn't that make you qualified to be an antique? Looking at it from an engineering perspective, you're now 3.5 in patent years. Even so, no one has ever been successful in producing a generic version of you. How could they? They'd break the mold---too many special traits to incorporate. HAVE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY and a year filled with joy, happiness and health, blessed by friends and family. ENJOY ENTERING THE 1ST DAY OF YOUR SEVENTH DECADE OF LIFE!!!!! CELEBRATE !!!!!!!!! Love, Sandy & Jedda

Comments: Hi Uncle Steve, Happy Birthday. Looking at all the names signed into this book makes me wish for one of the family reunions we used to have. Audrey and Evan enjoyed the pictures of you on the web page. Evan wants to go for a ride in your "cool car." When I told him about the trains you used to have set up, he went crazy. He wants to go to your house tomorrow. We hope you have a spectacular birthday and a great year ahead. Love, Wendy, Jeff, Audrey, Evan, Ryan

Comments: Happy 60th Steve. We've "come a long way baby" since our days at Forbes & Wallace and Riverside! We sure had fun! It seems like a different life. I'm glad that you don't hold it against me that I introduced you two and we're all still such good friends We all haven't seem much of each other over the last years, but I guess when friendships are as old as ours it doesn't matter. I hope you have a great birthday and many more. Love, Ann.

Comments: Hey Stephen, Happy Birthday! Christine must be a wonderful daughter to have thought of this gift for you. Memories being what they are, being one of the "little ones", I never got to play with your train set in the attic. Not that I hold that against you...much. Enjoy this day, count your blessings and hug your loved ones. All the best, your cousin Joanne

Comments: Happy Birthday, Stephen! I can't ever remember calling you Steve when we were kids. You were always Stephen to us cousins. I'll always remember how much fun it was to go to your house and be with our cousins. Nothing was more fun than going to the Gates house. I just went by there this year after about 35 years of not seeing it. Great memories. Hope I get to see you next time you get to New England. I'm still here in Maine for the time being. Anyways have a great 60th birthday. We're all close behind you. Love, cousin Dianne

Comments: Greetings Steve, Can't believe we made it this far. Diane and I used to talk about when we were going to be 50 years old when we were young. The year 2000 seemed a million years away. Now it is 2005. You and Diane are in Florida, and I have been in California for the last 30 years. Wishing you a happy 60th birthday. You look really good in the pictures. Keep doing what you are doing because obviously it is working. Talk to you both soon. Love, Cousin Paul

Comments: Happy birthday Steve! As I reflect back on our childhood days, I remember what fun it was to play whiffle ball with my big brother and his friends. Then there were those competitive croquet games (you always tried to "send" everybody somewhere!). You used to make me laugh so much when you pushed me around the house in the winter on a sled or in the wagon in the summer. And those skating rinks and snow forts you made in the back yard were lots of fun. And it was great the way you used to ice the hill for sliding - we were lucky we survived without broken bones! In later years, your fascination with fireworks grew and you surprised many with the big ones! It was a treat to go for a ride in that red TR3, your first car, and to go cruising with you and Harry Flood in his convertible. I felt so cool. And remember how Terri and I badgered you into going to your senior prom - how did you ever forgive us for that!?! Bowling was a big part of your youth, too, and Mom was so proud seeing you compete on TV. I was honored to be one of Jackie's bridesmaids at your wedding, (marrying Jackie was such a good decision!) and to be Godmother to your first child - Christine. May you have a marvelous birthday and a sensational 60's decade. Love and hugs from your "baby sister" (who will always be 4 years younger than you!), Annie
