To My Daughter Robin-Anne

 "You were the first Korenstein female that was born in 50 years" . That quote came from your Grandmother Reba "Kaye" Korenstein

 "You were the First Grandchild for Max (Poppi) and Rae Hiller (Nani)" - your Maternal Grandparents

 "You were the First Great-Grandchild for Lena (Bubbi) and Julius (Zayde) Fleischman"

You were the first child of Susan and Stephen
Korenstein-Two young parents who thought you were a gift from G-d. When we first brought you home (After 12 hours of labor) we would just stare at you and find it hard to believe that you were born to us.

 You were a girl who had Imagination, Inquisitiveness, and a Quest for Knowledge. You always asked "Why"? , and answered all questions with "Yes, Dear"

As the years went by (oh, so quickly) you grew into the little girl who was intelligent and had a thirst for life. No matter where we went, or what we did -  you looked, listened and understood. You asked questions and if the answer made sense you accepted it.

 When your brother came along you started your "Mothering" and when I found you in his crib when he was 6 months old you said "He was crying" and you were there to help him.

As you have grown through the years, the memories of your life made a special place in my heart. We may not always have agreed and had many "Mother-Daughter" disagreements, but  you were and will always be "My Daughter".

 I Love You with all my heart and as you have grown to be a Wife and Mother, I have seen the love, Warmth, Compassion and Knowledge that you have given to Rob, Robert and Reanna.

But most of all, I Love and Respect you for you - "My Daughter" and so on your 40^th Birthday,

I wish at least 40 more years of Health and Happiness. I am very proud that I gave birth to you on December 10^th, 1963  at 1:26am.
