years ago, you were teaching me to shoot the .22 and drive in the desert.
You had patience when most anyone else would have traded me in and you
always made time to help me think things through (no matter how excited I
got). I am lucky in so many ways to have a dad that loved me as much as
you do and to have sacrificed as much as you did. Where emulation is the
sincerest form of flattery, I have strived to be like you and only hope
that I grow up to be as much of a father and person as you are. You are
