Happy %)! I do remember Mike making one of my birthdays very
special by sending me 2 dozen carnations beautifully arranged in
a stunning glass cut vase. It definitely made a statement. I
never forgot it. Happiest of birhtdays Mike.

Butch,
Its good to have you on this side of life. Ain't it grand, and
in ten more years you can be the dirty ole man you have always
desired. The ladies dont slap you much when your 60...you'll
find that a relief trust me.
Happy Birthday my friend, sorry this is late but I know your
celebrate it in style. Take care and don't eat too
much.....cake.

When Alison told me about you and your early in life resemblance
to John Denver she didn't explain to me the divergence in later
years. What happened? |

One of the nicest things about working at Thornton High School
was meeting you and finding a life-long friend! What a good
friend you have been. Who ever thought the theatre teacher would
have become friends with the debate coach....but you have always
been a master at debating. But here we are....27 years later.
Wow! And neither one of us look any older. Mike, you are one of
the brightest people I know and one of the kindest; not to
mention generous! I hope you have a great, gre |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!
Just think how jealous I was when you graduated from EIU two
years ahead of me. I do not believe I am as jealous of you
hitting 50 first.
We had good times living in "Uncle Waynes" trailer. I
am not sure we would walk through a snow storm today to get to
"Roc's". Wait a minute, if I remember correctly, we
got lucky that night. We probably would still make the trip, but
at this age would we be able to "deliver"?
Your college roomy...for life!

Mike: I won't believe you're 50. We've known each other for 15
years and you've always fought back about getting another year
older. So enjoy the day and the rest of the year. You look
great. Of course that's what the undertaker would say. Keep up
the Grecian Formula and your next supply of Viagara will be
there in time for New Years Eve. |

Dear Mike. Heard you are having a birthday and wanted to wish

Thanks for taking such good care of me over the past few days.
