over it. I mean how many women does anyone know that are scuba divers...or
better yet...have boyfriends that are north of 10 years younger then
them??? Historically speaking, 50 is a great number, a milestone for all
walks of life, divisable by anything important, and I haven't met anyone
that is unhappy when they're handed a 50 dollar bill. More importantly, if
you're an optimist...it still only means your half way to the finish line!
So rather then agonizing over a number and it's relevant significance to
age, consider the great life you've lived (very nicely shown by the photos
on this site), and more importantly all the wonderful life experiences yet

Comments: On this momentous occasion of Kathy reaching such an
incomprehensibly advanced age, I would like to take the opportunity to pay
tribute to some of the many fine attributes that have made her such a
wonderful person for so many, many, many, many years. Kathy's sunny
personality has always brought great light and warmth to those around her,
which was especially important during the early part of her life before
the invention of electrical lighting. Kathy is also a very loving person,
having dated seven of the original signers of The Declaration of
Independence. However, during her college semester abroad, she met her
greatest love of all, the famed Mongol warlord Genghis Khan. As I'm sure
Genghis would readily agree, Kathy has always been a woman of unparalleled
generosity. Even as a young girl, she was thoughtful enough to bring a
gift to the very first birthday party she ever attended. Baby Jesus was
thrilled with her bottle of fine Italian pinot grigio, praising its light,
aromatic bouquet and citrusy undertones. In closing, Kathy has touched the
lives of so many of us, from her first pet wolly mammoth to the mangy,
saber-toothed insurance salesmen of the present day. Throughout the many
momentous events she has witnessed, from the discovery of dirt to the
creation of the first variable annuity, Kathy has always steadfastly been
so much older than everyone else. Happy Birthday, Kathy, and may your next

Comments: Oh my gawd, Kathy...it just hit me...you're not
"really" a blonde. Okay...now you are but then you weren't. I
figure this gives me an "in" when I decide to finally go Jean
Harlow platinum. I have to tell you my favorite picture: that swim
cap...jeez, it brought back 1960s memories. Those things gave me SUCH a
headache and always left a big ol' rubberband ring on my forehead to mark
me as an obedient geek. My parents were ecstatic. Sigh. I am so relieved
to find that I am not the only poor soul whose parents thought it was CUTE
to photograph me in my agony. Bless you! Just think about it: 50. Wow. No,
really--wow. Those of us who already crossed that milestone (and we won't
EVEN discuss how many miles there are between them) will tell you--life is
too short for regrets: create few, apologize for any & then leave them
be, and be happy...truly truly happy. Congratulations and many, many, many
more!
