Country: USA (Sunny Florida)
Comments: WOW you made "50".... I know it wasn't EASY ... from the day you had to smoke a whole pack of cigaretts till you where green to the gills( that's what happens when you get caught by your parents smoking butts from the ashtrays). I also heard a story from Dad the other day about you and how there was a cat about to be dissected (you never did it but Mom could have killed you). Then there was the burn from the thermos of hot coffee that exploded on you or the fish oil the gardener put on the burn to try to help out while Mom screamed! Being kicked out of the Buddist Temple (Mom could have killed you then too). Putting a field on fire!( Mom again). Locking a house so a Priest couldn't get in to bless the house! (Mom was so embarrassed). Oh, and then there was the motorcycle wreck (You and Bo were on without permission). I also remember you getting in trouble in Beirut by cops, (I think Dad might have wanted to get you for that one). You wanted to die when you had to cut your hair so you could graduate from High School(which you left the day after and hitch hiked your way to Alaska). Now that I think about it "HOW DID YOU SURVIVE MOM"? Happy Birthday Big Brother.... Love ya, Di, Corey and Casey

Comments: Dear Ed, You are finally catching up to me! I think 50 is a great year. I still can remember meeting you on the plane to Panama. It was great once we all got settled in. It looks like you are a Grandfather. I think being a Grandparent is so much more fun then being a parent even though I loved that too! I do like the long hair. I almost didn't recognize you! You look real hip!!! Take care and continue to be young!! Defiantely enjoy 50! I figure you are just middle age now! Your friend always, Cathy Ann Morris

Name: Bridgette Vaissiere
Comments: Dad-- How's it feel to be over the hill??? Oh, I almost forgot, you can't be over the hill if you're still only 12 years old at heart. Still windsurfing, skating, and being kicked out of abandoned airfields to try out a new landboard is still too young to be 50!!! Anyways, I love ya the way you are. Hope you have an incredible birthday. Love--Bridgette
