Although you were very busy with work you were the consummate
host, with a driving tour of London and a day out at Brighton.
This of course was the trip where the British/Australian rivalry
for sport was formed with the inaugural golf match at the Epsom
course. Each year since there had been a promise to come and visit us Down Under. |

technical and domestic -now even with laundry added to the long

En route Bill's car started to falter due to a lack of attention to the petrol gauge. Luck came to the rescue as a garage immediately appeared by the roadside, the car limped into the forecourt and was replenished. holiday in Meribel you realised, as a consultant structural
engineer, that the French design of chair lifts is lacking in
